November 23rd, Monday – Merchant Business Walk Around – 6 p.m.
Contact for questions: Julie Snellman, Art’s Furniture
The Merchant Walk Around will again be hosted at the PC Museum. We start at the Museum at 6 PM where the Phillips Transit will pick us up and take us around to the participating businesses for 10 minutes at each business that participates. This is a great opportunity to see what fellow business owners and operators are up to this holiday season and see what they are offering in their stores. We will also end at the Museum again this year for snacks and beverages and comradery.
We ask that each participating merchant:
*Provide a snack for the end of the evening
*Spend the first few moments in your store speaking about your products or store
*Sign up by Sept 28th so we can determine our route – We will only visit those stores who signed up
*Purchases may not be made that night. You may speak to individual merchants to hold your items to purchase later.

November 16th, Monday – Coloring Book Handed out
Contact for questions: Anna Merriman, Chamber Office, phone 654-1776, cell 939-0696 or email [email protected]
We will again be doing the Merchant Coloring Book this year! This has been a huge success for the past few years. Moore’s Printing is again in charge of creating this and handling the design so your advertisement ideas and creations will go to them. Either drop them off in person or email [email protected]
This is a coloring book with sponsor pages that have a space for the child’s name and phone number, an image to color and the back side is space for your business’ advertisement. The cover will be a thicker cardstock with a calendar of holiday events printed on the back of the cover and a 2020 Christmas image on the front. This $45 FULL page advertisement is a STEAL! You can go as simple as you want or get detailed in your ad.
Each individual business can decide on what their advertisement will be and the coloring images will be chosen by Moore’s printing. This $45 advertising fee covers the cost of printing 500 copies to be distributed at advertiser’s businesses and in the surrounding Phillips County towns. If you want a logo or anything specific other than text in your ad please contact Moore’s Printing to get them the files. Coloring books will be given out at the county elementary schools grade K-3rd and additional books given to participating businesses.

One of the biggest events of the season!!! The bags go FAAAAST!
Bags available at each local bank and Family Matters from November 9th until sold out.
Store open all day. Guests pre-purchase an exclusive “YOU are the JOLLY to MALTA’S HOLLY” bag for $15.00 pre-sale and $20 on the day of the sale. The numbered bags will be limited to 75 and will contain a holiday Chamber button, swag from businesses/organizations, printed Christmas promotions, and valuable coupons worth hundreds in holiday savings, PLUS the opportunity for a $250.00 Dino Dollars drawing that day on those buttons (1-75) only. The button number will be announced on KMMR at 3 pm and does not need to be claimed the same day.
If you would like a coupon for your store included in the bag:
Please send all of the information and your business logo to Anna Merriman @ [email protected] She will be making all of the coupons for the bags. Please do so ASAP.
We encourage stores to offer something exclusive in your store that day to the shoppers…i.e. team up with a homebased business in you store, offer food, hand massages, etc.
In previous years businesses have had a coupon for that day only and/or a coupon that lasts longer into the holiday season. A suggestion is to have more than one coupon for your business and dated to encourage repeat business throughout the season. Maybe 4 coupons that are individually good for a select period of time so they shop each week. *This is optional and just a suggestion.
