PhillCo Economic Growth Council is a citizen driven nonprofit group organized in 1986 to provide for planned growth and development conducive to the quality of life of Phillips County residents. Joined by progressive city and county goverments and a strong Chamber of Commerce, PhilCo extends an invitation to you to visit our part of Montana’s Big Sky Country. We have established a partnership between PhillCo and Bear Paw Development, a regional EDA district to provide additional funding options through a local revolving loan fund, a microbusiness loan program, and other similar programs. We are also capable of providing technical assistance for financial programs offered by Rural Development and the Small Business Administration (SBA).

Should you choose to open or expand your business in Phillips’ County, we welcome you and will help you become an important part of our community. MISSION STATEMENT:
The mission of PhillCo Economic Growth Council is to assist in improving the economic stability of the Phillips County area and the standard of living of the residents. To provide leadership in the county relative to the creation of new jobs and new wealth.

GOALS:

1. To establish Phillips County as a regional trade and service center.

2. To maintain PhillCo Economic Growth Council as an effective long term organization for the promotion of economic development.

3. To expand and grow basic industry and businesses in the county to include manufacturing and processing.

4. To promote a quality of life conducive to the economic growth of the area.

Special efforts are being made within the next twelve months to effectively recruit new business to the area – but we can’t do it alone.

Join us in working to sustain and expand the local economy. Contact any director with your ideas or attend a meeting. Regular PhillCo meetings are the final Monday of each month at Rogers, 12:00 noon. The Annual meeting & Banquet is second Tuesday of November each year.
