Unique attractions indeed!

Round out your stay with hiking in the local mountains, and gold panning. The unincorporated towns of Landusky and Zortman are historic mining camps which began in the 1880s when Pike Landusky and others established claims.

The first mills were established in Zortman in 1903. The two towns are located in the Little Rockies which is an island mountain range in the northern plains.

You can plan your stay for Camp Creek Campground on the outskirts of Zortman. To get to this little mountain town, follow U.S. Higway 191, paved all the way to town!
