Of course, world class fishing is a major draw to this area of Montana! With 1,500 miles of shoreline around Fort Peck Lake by itself, the fishing opportunities are unlimited!

Ponds-    

Beaver Ponds
Good access from Camp Creek, Brook Trout.

Cole Ponds
2 Ponds, west of tracks, north of road, filled with Rainbow Trout,and Large Mouth Bass, 1 pond south of road, holds Rainbow Trout, Large Mouth Bass, Walleye, Pumpkinseed 3 ponds east of tracks, north of road  filled with Northern Pike, Large Mouth Bass, Pumpkinseed,  3 miles from Nelson Reservoir facilities, all with excellent access.

Rivers-

Fred Robinson Bridge, Missouri River - KIP Park
Highway access, boat ramps, camping, toilets, tables & grills.  Noted for Paddle fishing but holds Walleye, Northern Pike, Sturgeon, Sauger Catfish, Ling.

Milk River
Various excellent access points on and off highway, accommodations or campgrounds in Malta. filled with walleye, Northern Pike, Small Mouth Bass, Sauger, Catfish.

Reservoirs-

Nelson Reservoir
Excellent access, boat ramps, camping, tables, water, toilets, trophy Walleye, Northern Pikes, Perch, Two state record Walleyes with possible State record Northern pike, 4,000 acres.

Compton Reservoir
Good access, 8.3 acre Trout Pond

Flake Reservoir
Good  access, stocked with trout.

Douchette Reservoir
Good access, 8.7 acres filled with trout.

Empire Reservoir
poor access, cars not advised,  6 acre Largemouth Bass Pond.

King Reservoir
Good access, signs, 9 acre Trout pond.

Karston coulee reservoir
good access, 3.9 acre pond filled with crappie and bass.

Bell ridge reservoir
access is excellent, signs, toilet, 4.2 acres, Trout to 2.5+ lbs.

Lark reservoir
good access, signs, toilet, 6 acres trout 2+ lbs.

Dog town reservoir
fair access, steep incline, cars not recommended  1.9 acres filled with bass

7-UP Reservoir 
good access, 20 acres  loaded with bass, silted, no longer stocked

Sentinel reservoir
excellent access, signs, toilets, 14.2 acres, 2 to 4+ lb Trout.

Pale face reservoir
good access, signs, 4.3 acre Largemouth bass pond

Whiteface Reservoir
good access, signs, 4.3 acre filled with trout and largemoutH bass

Sage Brush Reservoir
good access, signs, 5.8 acre trout pond

Taint Reservoir
good access, signs, 7.3 acre pond with trout 1 to 3 lbs

Bison Bone Reservoir 
Fair access, signs, 167 acres loaded with northern pike

Current Reservoir
Good access, signs, toilet, 15.1 acres, average sized trout are 2.5 lbs.

Thundercloud Reservoir
Fair to good access, 2.6 acre, largemouth bass pond

Wrangler Reservoir
Good access, 4.2 acre trout pond.

Lakes-

Fort Peck Lake
Excellent access, world famous, boat ramps, camping,  Walleye, Lake trout, Paddle fish, Northern Pike, Sturgeon, Sauger, Ling, Catfish,  130 miles long with 1500 miles of shoreline.
